Can parrots talk

  1. Parrots can effectively mimic the spoken language of humans. They do not however,have a cognitive understanding of the words they mimic. Scientists are speculating  whether or not parrots can understand the words they hear and mimic.While there are a few isolated incidents of birds showing cognitive understanding of words,there is no real evidence that parrots can comprehend the spoken language
